ORPIC sponsors 8 elite Students of College of Engineering of NUST to participate in Gulf Petrochemical & Chemicals Association (GPCA) annual forum.


ORPIC awarded full scholarship opportunities to eight College of Engineering students of National University - College of Engineering, to participate in Gulf Petrochemical and Chemicals Association (GPCA) - “Leaders of tomorrow” programme. A total of 48 students from different universities and colleges across the sultanate attended “Leaders of tomorrow” programme held in Dubai from 26th to 28th November 2018. The scholarships were fully sponsored and funded by ORPIC as part of its celebrations of the 48th national day driven by its value to serve Oman and customers with pride. The leaders of tomorrow programme gave a great opportunity for our students to have hands on knowledge and experience with the industry experts and business leaders. The annual Gulf Petrochemical & Chemicals Association (GPCA) forum has become the flagship petrochemical gathering for international industry executives from all parts of the value chain. The programme focused on series of seminars and master classes to provide more practical tools and strategies to be taken away and applied in the organizations. Two site visits to Borouge Innovation Center in Abu Dhabi and Huawei center in Dubai were also arranged as a part of the “Leaders of tomorrow” programme.
