We consider it as our responsibility as the oldest Engineering College to foresee this and make the opportunity for the aspiring candidates to upgrade their knowledge and skills.

Dr. Ahmed Bin Hassan Al-Balushi, Dean of the College, added: "We are working hard to provide programs of great importance and interest to the country. We have been monitoring and analyzing the labour market and its needs, and expecting this program will provide an opportunity for our national cadres to equip with the rapid and fast growing logistic industries in Oman and the region. This program is characterized by participation of Lecturers from Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU), UK, and specialized professionals from inside and outside the Sultanate, in order to provide best practices for students. The program is designed to train the students in practical and theoretical frameworks for effective use of logistics services, with the modern technologies and to enhance students’ capabilities in dealing with the activities of this sector through the latest technologies”.

It is important to note that this program is one of the most modern programs aimed to deal with the logistical challenges of the supply chain and international operations services, through which the student acquires many interrelated elements that form the supply chain, how to choose materials, interact with customers, and create equilibrium between supply and demand.

This program will also allow students to study at the weekends, so that beneficiaries from the public and private institutions from Oman & GCC region can join the program. The program will start from September 2018.
