Involvement

Go beyond the classroom and experience life alongside your fellow student coordinators. We have clubs and groups on campus, and if you can't find one that’s right for you, we encourage you to start your own! There are many ways to get involved at CCE. Involvement is by far the greatest part of college life. Clubs on campus are created to suit the diverse interests of students that range from sports to academics to research and self-expression and beyond. They are the great way to get involved, make new connections and share a common interest with your peers. Student Advisory Council

This is an all student team that is elected by student body and is responsible for analyzing student issues and communicate student issue to the college management. The Student Advisory Council members are confident, committed and widely accepted. So if you have these qulaities with a desire to bring a change then this is where you should be.

This is an Elite team to analyze to understand student issues and discover to bridge student matters with college management. Confident and committed and favorable by all should join this team. Research shows that students involved in community activities, like service learning or volunteerism, while in college are more likely to stay in school, graduate, find a job, maintain employment, and be involved in community leadership after graduation.

The volunteering services will provide students and volunteers with great opportunities to engage with the community both locally and beyond. Thanks to this program, students and nonprofit organizations can come together to create service projects that address one or more of the current social issue areas affecting our community?

Student Employment

College appreciates student employment in more encouraging respectful manner which is win-win for both the parties. There are two types of employment, student volunteers and Student Trainee. This give student’s sense of responsibility rather than it is free. This is the job description for student body volunteer support group in the hostels. Their contribution with the warden will be in hostel administration office.

Student Body Support Group Task

Office Support:

  • Re-validate list of keys for students.
  • Delivery of announcement ( events, warden calls for assistance, new functions,)
  • Taking  leadership,  taking  responsibility  of  shopping  tours  in  case  of  warden  on emergency.

Student Support:

  •  Bridging student communication with wardens.
  •  Supporting in student events.

Suggestion:

  • Provide suggestions in enhancement in hostel services

Student Body Role:

  1. Provide list of hostel student body group to warden coordinator on the first academic week of every semester.
  2. All students in this body will be provided letter of thanks on academic semester.
  3. Most active students will be appreciated in events.

Student Trainee Assignment:

This is the job description for student Trainee warden in the hostels. Their contribution with hostel administration office working under the leadership of hostel warden is in the following category.

Student Trainee Task

Office Support:

  • Re-validate list of Hostel keys for students. (once per semester)
  • Delivery of announcement ( events, warden calls for assistance, new functions,)
  • Taking leadership in events, taking responsibility of shopping tour or in case of warden on emergency or off duty. (As and when situation requires)
  • Reporting emergencies and student issues to warden.
  • Give daily 2 hour for office assistance.
  • Report to warden in case of student profiles

Student Support:

  • Bridging student communication with wardens as first point of contact.
  • Supporting in student events.
  • Working closely with student group bodies of the hostel and hostel leader.

Suggestion:

  • Provide suggestions in enhancement in hostel services and assist warden arranging minor events.

End of tenure: All student Trainee wardens are appreciated by the management and provided letter of thanks on completion of one academic semester for her role in the hostel. And management courtesy give student trainee warden hostel fee deduction of 50% of hostel rentals for annual academic study term.
